He plays and sings with every fiber of his being. It was a challenge to take these pictures because I wanted to look up at him and feel what he feels when he strums, sings and writes. This was my first photo pas that I’ve ever been fortunate to shoot and the fact that it was my favorite band…how fitting and what a great start for me. It was an incredible experience to be able to be that close to the guys.

Dustin played some acoustic songs after the show at Irving Plaza. He was so kind, and we were so fortunate, to have played these songs for us after a long, amazing set. Dustin has the kind of heart and mind that is so unfathomably rich, yet he is such a humble man. Thrice fans are probably one of the luckiest fans. It was such a surreal moment, looking around and hearing everyone sing along with him. I am so grateful to be a part of the Thrice community and to just be able to listen to what he’s preaching. Hopefully I speak for all of us when I say that my mind has been enormously expanded because of him.
